Queen of dystopia
I want to see your purples and blues
The night is boiling us alive
Waking ancient history up
You could hide a mountain
in the void they left in us
Feathers in your mouth
tell me your guilty too

I stayed up late last night
Watching cars crashing into cars
You sat in a corner
smoldering like a cigarette
hoping the night would never end
Bite my tongue
Bite my eyes
I never want to see the news again
The words ricochet in my brain
and spill out my lips
Through the woods
Across the beach
We well drive until there's no money left
There's not enough bunkers in the wold
The fog is on our heels

With Rapture

Nostalgia has its grip
And revelry goes to waste
All the stupid things
Don’t need a second take
All of the spare time
It rots away the brain
You do not roll in the mud
To get yourself clean
Here I anticipate
The crisis of the day
If you get the message there’s no need in
Holding on the line
These are all my concerns
Love in a muted sense
Cause none’s a perfect fit
If I had a choice then you’d be it

Tow the line
Until they change their mind
Cause nothing here is sacred
And what’s the fine
For being what you are?
Cause is should be limitless?
What are you waiting for?
A public crime
Permissible in time
The blues have got their claws in us
The filthy swine
Uncompromising
So what are we waiting for?
What are you waiting for?
Dilemmas for prisoners
Consequence and reactions
Could matter less when they
Turn us us in
What are you waiting for?

Visions and prophecies
You send across the sea
And I know you can see tomorrow
today
Planning your great escape
Served on a silver plate
And I know you can see tomorrow
today
Desire Overdose
Madness, he comes close
And I know you can see tomorrow
today
Tearing yourself apart
Becomes your finest art
And I know you can see tomorrow
today
